Duke’s Brotherhood: Where Are They Now? is an independent documentary history of Duke men’s basketball, built around one group of men: the Brotherhood, everyone who has played for Mike Krzyzewski or Jon Scheyer since 1980.
Each profile tells four stories: how the player got to Duke, what made them special in Durham, what happened after they left, and where they are now. The profiles are deeply researched, narrative-driven, and built around the human details that box scores can’t capture — the families, the turning points, the moments that defined careers and lives.
Around the Brotherhood sits the record of the program itself. The Roots of the Brotherhood are the years before Coach K — the Foster Era is catalogued now, and the Early Years, back to Trinity College’s first game in 1906, are next — with every season, roster and game documented the same way as the years since.
The archive currently covers 52 seasons since 1974 and 276 players: 250 in the Brotherhood across 8 eras and 26 in its roots, with 276 full profiles complete and more in development. This is a living document that grows over time.
